The Kaedan Group consists of private firms engaged in making equity investments focused in areas including, inter alia, digital media, internet, on demand software and mobile applications.

Kaedan invests its own funds, occasionally joined by first rate co-investors with whom Kaedan has long time business relationship. By investing its own funds, Kaedan shares the risks of ownership.

Kaedan’s team have dozens of years of experience in investment management as well as operational hands-on knowhow in managing and assisting companies that span from seed and early stage up to mature life stages. Together, the team forms a unique and complimentary set of skills in investments, general management, finance, marketing and business development.

Furthermore, the team enjoys a strong and wide professional network that provides our portfolio companies with immediate access to key decision makers in the Israeli and international business markets.

Team

Yair Hamburger serves as the Chairman of Harel Insurance Investments & Financial Services Ltd, the holding company of Harel Insurance Ltd., Dikla Insurance Company and Harel Finance. Harel group is one the largest players in the Israeli financial market with numerous holdings in equity markets, infrastructure and real estate, managing more than $25US Billion in assets.

Yair has been personally accompanying Kaedan's investment activity for the past decade. Yair holds a BA in Economics and Social Sciences from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Ron Tamir has been engaged in investments in Internet, digital media, software and mobile businesses since founding Kaedan in 2001. Ron is the Managing Partner of Kaedan Capital and the Chairman of subsidiary Kaedan Media Group. Ron also serves as the Chairman of Tvinci Ltd., a leading provider of online video solutions, and Citynet Ltd., Israel's leading online and mobile sports content provider, and acts as a board director in several portfolio companies assisting with finance, strategy, business development and marketing. Ron has previously held international management and marketing positions in high tech and consumer goods corporations.

Ron holds an MBA from the Kellogg Business School, Northwestern University, with majors in Finance and Marketing, and an LL.B. degree from Tel Aviv University. Ron is an accredited attorney at law and has specialized in corporate and business law.

Alon Hochdorf is an Advertising/Media Expert. Alon has worked for some of the world's most renowned advertising agencies to include McCann-Erickson USA, Ogilvy & Mather Australia, JWT Israel and Saatchi & Saatchi UK where in 1996 Alon was promoted to their UK Board of Directors. Since 2001, Alon is the CEO of Zenith Media Israel, and since 2007 Chairman of Saatchi Interactive Israel. His experience is vast, to include Clients such as Procter & Gamble, British Airways, Lloyds Bank, Comverse and others.

Alon holds an MBA from the Australian School of Business, New South Wales University, with majors in Marketing and Advertising, and a BA degree With Great Distinction from San Jose State University, California USA with a major in Advertising.

Gideon has been involved as an investor and active board member in technology ventures since 2001. His involvement includes assisting portfolio companies in formulating corporate strategy, M&A activity and fund raising.

Gideon's past work experience includes several years as an Investment Banker at a leading Israeli based bank and positions as Director of Business Development in technology and consumer goods companies. In addition, Gideon has been involved in several real estate investments in the USA and UK.

Gideon holds an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and a BA in Business with a double major in finance and marketing from Boston College, Boston, USA.

Ofer served as a co-founder and VP R&D of 888.com for almost a decade (LSE: 888 holdings) accompanying its growth from start up phase up to a 1000+ employees publicly traded corporation.

In recent years, after 888, Ofer has been engaged as an active investor and board member in various technology ventures, including 5min which was recently acquired by AOL (NYSE: AOL).

Ofer holds a B.Sc. degree in computer science from the Technion, Haifa, Israel.

Ziv is our passionate technology expert. Ziv has over 15 years of experience in managing IT, Q&A and product teams in various high tech companies. Ziv has built from scratch several internal departments including Q&A in 888.com (LSE: 888 holdings).

Ziv was the founder of hydepark.co.il, a pioneering forum site in Israel, which was later acquired by Hevre. Ziv was also a part of the founding team of eToro, a global leader in development and marketing of online financial trading solutions.
